In the Kingdom there are 4 dimensions of POWER

And ye shall receive Power after that the Holighost is come upon you

The power of Witnessing is the DUNAMIS Power – Act 1:8

The Power of Attorney is the Judicial power which is EXOUSIA POWER – Luke 10:19

  1. DUNAMIS POWER:

Dynamic or dynamite Power. IT OPERATES LIKE A DYNAMO

Acts 1:8, inherent ability of a thing by virtue of its nature

  • EXOUSIA POWER:

This is authoritative power or power of attorney, this is Judicial Power, Judicial in nature. Luke 10:19, Luke 9:1, Mark 3:14

  • KRATOS POWER:

Strength Power Ephesians 3:16-17

  • ISCHUS POWER:

2 Corinthians 10:10 Might, strong, Speaks of one who has strength  of soul to sustain the attacks of satan. Strong and therefore exhibiting many excellence. Eg Job

1 Peter 4:14

It will interest you to know that the things you know about glory may not the scriptures

definitions of What GLORY is.

The scriptures were given to us for our LEARNING, that we through the comfort of the scriptures we might have hope. And so, God want to impart hope and faith into your spirit.

I see helpless situation coming back to life, I see hopeless situation coming back to life. The Lord is on your side and he will fight for you and with you.

They may not be what God define as Glory according to his own definition.

This is why I asked us to read from the above verses to show you that

Glory be definition is first of all A SPIRIT called THE SPIRIT OF GLORY

You may be quick to say it the Holy Spirit and you are rightly so because according to

ROMANS 6:4 – Christ was Raised by the GLORY OF THE FATHER.

We were therefore buried with Him by baptism unto death that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the Glory of the FATHER, even so we also should walk in the newness of life.

WHAT IS GLORY

To know what glory is, we must first of all understand what it is and what is not.

GLORY IS WEIGHT – The Weight of God. The Weight of Glory

Means splendour, brightness, excellence, dignity, pre-eminence, honour, praise-worthy.

Not necessarily praise but what evokes praise, what evokes worship.

When you see God through the eye of glory, the resultant effect of what you saw is what causes you to Worship. That thing you saw is GLORY.

That thing you saw that moved you into Worship, Praise and Adoration was GLORY  

Revelation 5:12

11Then I looked, and I heard the voices of many angels and living creatures and elders encircling the throne, and their number was myriads of myriads and thousands of thousands. 12In a loud voice they were saying: “Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing!” 13And I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying: “To Him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power forever and ever!”…

7 FACTS ABOUT GLORY

  1. Glory is a spirit – 1 Peter 4:14
  • Glory is a Person – Romans 6:4
  • Glory is a Language of Heaven (The voice of the LORD maketh the hinds to calve, and discovereth the forests: and in his temple doth every one speak of his glory. Ps. 29: 2,)

In the realm of the spirit speaking is not only with Words.

Words are the Lowest vocabulary for communicating spiritual realities. For example, tears speaks, blood speaks (In Hebrews, the blood of Able speaks)

God speaks except with audible voice but mostly it is picked by your spiritual senses.

  • Glory is a by product of the WORD ( John 17:21-22

that all of them may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I am in You. May they also be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me. 22I have given them the glory You gave Me, so that they may be one as We are one— 23I in them and You in Me—that they may be perfectly united, so that the world may know that You sent Me and have loved them just as You have loved Me

  • Glory is the Beauty of The Lord (The Beauty of God – Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness” (1 Chron. 16: 29; Ps. 96: 9).
  • Glory is power and strength (1 Chronicles 29:11-12 )

The tabernacle was designed to trap the glory of God – Exodus 25:40

The essence of a tabernacle – to trap the glory. Just like a shrine.

Your spirit was built to mirror the dimension of God – 1 Thess 5:23

Your spirit was made with the same substance God is made of – The Glory of God.

Christ the Express image – Hebrew 1,

Christ as the first born from the Dead, we were born in the same image

And made of the same substance

Glorify God in your mortal body

The WORK OF GLORY IS :

  1. Establish you in the newness of Life, THE NEW LIFE IN CHRIST. When you received Christ, you received a new life.

2 Corinthians 5:21 – If any man be in Christ, He is a new Creature or Creation. You are a new creation in Christ and God put his Glory upon you for the purpose of establishing you in Christ Jesus

  • Its work is to assist you to withstand the persecutions associated with identifying with Christ and enable you to bear the weight of the reproaches associated with bearing the name of Christ.

1 Peter 4:14 –

 14 If you are censured and suffer abuse [because you bear] the name of Christ, blessed [are you—happy, fortunate, [h]to be envied, [i]with life-joy, and satisfaction in God’s favor and salvation, regardless of your outward condition], because the Spirit of glory, the Spirit of God, is resting upon you. On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is glorified.

Acts 5:4

And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name.

That reproach that they suffered is what God calls Glory.

2 Corinthians 4:17

For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;

Hebrews 11:26

INTENSIFYING THE GLORY ON YOUR LIFE

If you are going to experience Glory in it intensity, the Holiness and Purity must be your goal.

Hebrews 12:14
